Just actually had a play with the sport in the Apple Store. The missus used to work in a Jewellery shop so has experience and had a couple of thoughts/issue with the sport.

She said she would be worried that because the strap isn't hinged where it connects to the watch this could wear out become cracked from taking it in and off every day.

The other issue was she felt the strap could work it was loose and definitely be easily take off you wrist by a pick pocket.

People that have had a play or got one what's your thoughts?

I found the phone feature useful whilst in the car, although I i'm not sure what stance the police would take data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 It is essentially hands-free!

The strap certainly doesn't come off easy, it's clipped in and can only be removed by taking off the watch and pressing in the little button.even then it doesn't just fall out.I'm sure a mugger could rip it off your arm though in a similar way they could rip any watch off of their victims arm!I certainly hope that is not the case tho!

As for the strap wearing, I couldn't possibly comment on that as its something you wouldn't know about until x amount months down the line, I would hope Apple would have simulated movement enough on prototypes to know how well it will last? data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 lets hope so!!

It all feels pretty solid to me, but as with any new product, you can't predict how it will wear over time with any real acurism but if its anything like all the phones I have had it should be ok, fingers crossed data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Which strap are you talking about I'm talking about the rubber sport band. You push it over the hole then slide it under in itself but once on feels like it would take a lot to come undone.

I have the sport watch and strap. I thought you were talking about how it fixes to the watch itself, you are obviously talking about doing the strap up.It feels quite secure to me, definitely isn't going to 'fall' off, but with force, yeah maybe it will come off but you could say that about many other watches. If someone really wants to steal something from you, I very much doubt they will have to rip it from you with force, they will make you hand it over ! data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Seriously? That's insane. I'm enjoying the watch but 200 quid profit just like that is tempting......
