If the card is more than one with you will have to take the other blanking plate(s) off to fit the new card depending on if it is 2 or 3 slots wide.
They should come off with a reasonable amount of force, if you do it the right manner you shouldn’t damage the mb

Ok great.
Why do they not all have screws ? Would make it much easier.
Once they're off is there any getting them back on ?

In that case don’t use the WiFi, if you have the choice of gigabit ( or even 100mbit) hard wired you should choose that option as it will be more reliable and connect at a constant speed

It’s made to a price point, cheaper not to have extra blanking plates and screws.
Once removed you would to put a blanking plate there if you remove the gpu in the future.

If you don't have easy access to an RJ45 or your router then you can always use a wireless dongle.

I considered that, but because I'm using Linux finding the drivers for wi-fi dongles is a right pain, with wireless I get like 30mb ( on the 5GHz channel )
I understand I needed to change it to Full Duplex
With wired I get 67mb, and it's also more secure so i'll always opt for Wired.
And yes, the router is pretty much right next to the dongle ( its in the next room )
In regards to the panels on my tower, as they don't all have screws ( As shown in the picture ) whats the best way to remove them when I get a GPU ? Pull ? Twist ?
Last question for now if the GPU I get requires a direct connection to the PSU is it easy to plug in ?

Push them away from the MB, from the inside of the case out. They are really not in there solidly so a little pushing and a slight twist will normally get the blanking plate out.

Ok dude thanks data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
Is it fairly straight forward plugging the GPU cable into the PSU ?

Best wireless dongles for linux, and there's probably lots more.
List: Linux Compatible USB Wireless Adapter (WUSB) - nixCraft
I've never had a problem with any dongle I use on my Linux OS
But if you have easy access to your router or an RJ45 socket elsewhere then a wired connection beats wireless any time. These days I tend to only use wired if the download is big, ultra critical or online banking is involved.
