Bit odd that the TV turns to 3D mode when watching a BR and i turn on the glasses but it doesnt on SKY3D where i have to select 3D Mode on the remote each time.
hi well here goes richer sounds have stocks of the 46. model 853so shall I go for one good price think its 999 .or shall I go for pannasonic VT50.main concerns box returns to richer sounds and may /not be clouding, but use x box a lotso don't want the burn on screen that I may get on the plasma.
How can you tell when your model was built and what months have people found issues with in particular?

Maybe I'm just dumb but how the hell can I access red button features on this TV?? Trying to press red on BBC to watch the Snooker but can't see how to get it to work.
Which channel are you on? The red button is not available on Freeview HD channels, only on SD:

This is because a 3D BR produces a true 3D picture, whereas Sky 3D creates a 3D picture by sending a side by side image through a 'normal' 2D picture.

Was out shopping today and was offered the 55" for £1399 with 5 year warranty thrown in. Is this a good deal? No glasses with deal.
I paid 1389 with the free bluray player and the James bond and spiderman box sets. So, I personally don't think it is.
