That's because they like a mislead as they think they can get away with charging £50for a HDMI cable that will do no better job than a 99p one from ebay. They make their money on accessories from unsuspecting customers (sorry, victims)
Just to add that I'm in Ireland & bought my TV online form Hegarty's for €1,500 with a 5 year guarantee & free shipping. Currys are currently selling off their shop display models for €1,729.95. The stand in the one I looked at was damaged & they wouldn't offer any more off. Harvey Norman have some for €2K. Obviously the UK prices are better as always, but I'm very pleased with my deal.
Can anyone recommend wall mounts for the 55'' Model? Preferably one similar to what Samsung use and are like your ''hanging a picture on your wall'' if you know what i mean?
