WOW!! I'll say. There's one listed on Amazon for $900.00. But would you sell it though?

Tate Publish time 28-11-2019 00:53:26

For $900... nah... it will be worth more in the future... even if it is not, it is a great conversation piece

Both systems together cost me around £200 thanks to finding the Kefs in someone's garage and getting them free and picking up the Kenwood Combo with Target Stand for £15, the Rotel/Triangle set up for £120 and the Project TT for £65. The squeezeboxes were a later edition - have 4 around the house.

Don't really like sending pics out over the net. However, i have recently bought a Panasonic TH-58PF11EK professional plasma monitor, that have Musical Fidelity Referance 2 speakers attached. The hi-fi system i have had since it was 13 months old, this consists of an Arcam Alpha 8 cd player, Alpha 9 integrated amp, Alpha 7 tuner and B&W P4 floor standing speakers. The separates are sitting on an Apollo 3 tier stand.

Updated sig as have just replaced Transfiguration Phoenix cartridge with Ortofon Per Windfeld. Even allowing for the Phoenix being well used, still a significant improvement. Deeper soundstage, sweeter upper frequencies and fuller but well controlled bass with less surface noise.

Arcam_boy Publish time 28-11-2019 00:53:31

Any pictures Keith?

belloire Publish time 28-11-2019 00:53:32

wowsers Keith, that PW is a serious cart (as is the phoenix of course!). what phono / SUT are you using?

not heard any of the top line ortofons, a friend has the transfiguration orpheus which is an amazing cart, though he's gone all MM at the moment!
