Not that they don't or can't be bothered but most likely are restricted by other reasons, kids, furniture, space, SWMBO (which other than space is probably the most likely reason data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7). Definitley nice to see tho data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Thanks all for the comments about the speakers.

I'm very lucky, at least as far as hi-fi is concerned, as I live on my own and don't have to compromise.

They sound wonderful BTW. Crisp, controlled, tight base, sweet top end and mids. Lovely controlled soundstage that's almost 3D.

I could go on, so I'll stop there. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

But not so poor to afford furniture good enough for the Sun King?

I love that table, have said so before; there is huge drama in that room, it's very nice.

hi Robert

it's not a bad system, though i'm upgrading the NVA pre amp to an Audio Innovations Series 200 tomorrow......
i'll take a pic this weekend, but you may have seen them already. i got the whole system in the classifieds on the wigwam, the speakers belonged toStewartwen, and the Vincent belonged to MadVinylJunkie

just watched your grand tour data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 rather stunning mate data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 have thought about getting an avr with 5.1 setup for movies on bluray but it's the usual budget vs want/need thing! as much as my stereo is good enough for movies, it's not good enough data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 i think y'all understand lol so it a case of make do for now.

thanks for the video and your posts are always informative and benevolent.

I'll be moving out of this property in the new year to buy somewhere else which i'm not looking forward to from an AV and HiFi perspective as the living room is so good for acoustics.

Interesting system Steve, interesting videos as well. Nice DIY speakers I must say data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 I thought at first you had 2 AVRs but ones a stereo receiver. Are both sets of speakers connected to your Yamaha? Which are your favourite speakers?
