Yep1 on that.I hope its less simulator more action and exploration. As you can do stuff in and out of the ship, theres certainly a lot of scope.

So, what do you actually do in No Man's Sky? • Eurogamer.net

Definitely looking forward to this one, hope a release date is announced soon. Other than Fallout 4 this will be one I will stick with for a good while! Haven't seen a whole lot of gameplay but apparently everything you do you get paid haha, I wonder what the upgrades/crafting will be like

Sony have scored a massive own goal imo, not jsut for NMS but also for playstation VR in general.its a few months old but i missed it.

'No Man's Sky' Project Morpheus VR Gameplay Not Coming To PS4? Sony CEO Discusses Rumors!

up until now I thought Sony seemed to be doing pretty well with VR (considering the castrated hardware they are using to run the headset) data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

however, after initially promising reports that No Mans Sky may be coming to Playstation VR, Sony Computer Entertainment America's CEO
said that Morpheus will not be supporting games with "50 hrs of gameplay"which sounds to me like Sony are looking to aim for short party game and arcade type experiences

This is terrible IMO.Personally I think it is far more likely the PS4 hardware simply cant produce a decent VR experience with NMS

I just hope sony do not splash some cash to stop them releasing it with VR support on PC (to stop the PC version having a disparity with the PS4).Apparently by all accounts NMS is incredible in VR, I know personally I do not think I would bother with it if it did not support it..

"Oh, so I guess you're on the show to announce a release date, or is that still a secret?"

"No, still a secret."

Rumours that the pc version holding it back with issues, Sony holding it back to release with PlaystationVR. Take your pick. I'll pick it up when it's out as it's one I've really been looking forward too but this release date business is beyond tiresome now. It's become a joke.

I think they are delaying it to insert some gameplay in between all the flying around data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Tiresome, yes.I would also add embarrassing.

Considering what other titles are doing, with a lot of other games jumping on this game genre bandwagon, if they don't pull their finger out soon they will have to procedurally generate a new audience too.

I'm sure I saw some stream where someone asked them this and they got a bit uptight about it.

'Yeah there's like trillions of planets man that you can fly onto and explore'
'Yes, but after you've done that on 5 planets what is going to keep me interested?'
'Well you can go see 5 more unique planets man'
'Super...'
