And this is what makes life so interesting data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 ... I loved Tomb Raider, and am really enjoying what I've played of Bioshock Infinite, but something like Monster Hunter would have me reaching for the eject button. It's great there are games out there for all tastes data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
I also love Luigi's Mansion 2 data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 ... The game is just getting better as it goes along. Played for nearly 3 hours last night, only planned a quick mission or two. So many genius touches, and while the puzzles so far haven't been super hard, their solutions have brought on smile to my face on most occasions.
And I won't spoil nothing, but... Cracking game.I never knew it was based in more than one mansion, so it was great when it was revealed that new places are going to be explored //static.avforums.com/styles/avf/smilies/clap.gif

Finish the mission, and when you go back to the lab, it'll save.
Theres no mid level saves.

Perhaps i just lost my gaming mojo but i turned the 3ds off after level b3...wont spoli it for anyone but i kept getting killed in a graveyard and had to start from the beginning each time. When you 'learn' a bosses moves in order to defeat them there is a lot of trial and error in any game but you often get to try it again right away....its a long process when you have to restart the entire level each time....data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I'm not at the same part, so might not apply... but I did notice when you're low on health, killing the smaller ghosts, rechecking boxes and drawers you've already emptied etc.. will lead to a nice little supply of data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7's

Cheer for that. Its not so much the beating the boss...its starting right back at the beginning when you die. You have to do the whole level again.
Very old skool...quite infuriating...data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

And lo, the masses did cry, and thus, the anytime save, overall easier games, handholding and tutorial levels were born... data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Dear, oh dear....data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
I dont like anytime saves, but I do like automatic save points like those just before a boss battle so if you get killed you get another run at it.
I dont like having to trudge through the whole level again to have another go when I already discovered the secrets and route to the boss.
Alas, this review is the nearest to my take on the game
