Well after a bit of a traumatic start to the evening we left where we was and visited another nearby pub and the OH bought me this local farm shop sourced 16oz T'bone steak.
It was delicious.

Had the Tomahawk sitting at room temp for a couple of hours (covered)

Then into the pan for a few minutes a side (We're gonna need a bigger pan)

Out the pan and into an oven tray for 45 minutes and a 10 minute rest. Pan was deglazed and stock added.

Large steak fries done with sweetcorn, peas and large mushrooms with chives added from the garden.

Very over-exposed in our kitchen which makes them look very white/uncooked.
