It was in my local Tesco last night, unsure it if national or not tbh.
I was doing some other shopping there as well which with the Jura came to more than £50.00 and with a £5.00 voucher effectively brought the bottle down to £17.00 (kind of!)

Nowhere to be seen in either of my two local stores. Found that Superstition was on offer at Waitrose for £21 so made do with that for now

Has anyone tried this yet? Saw the bottle in Morrisons last night - something about it makes me want to buy it, but it is £40 a bottle.

Looking at the reviews on Amazon, I wouldn't bother data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Tried this in the airport recently. Far too sweet for me, so I'm not a fan.
Supposed to be decent for a single grain whisky, but not something I'd be buying - will stick to the peatier malts.

I started to read that and fell asleep - or maybe it was the propofol data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
To be honest, as I get older, I don't find there to be as much difference as there once was. I once had a Glenmorangie 18yr old and it was a lovely tipple. But the regular 10yr old stuff tastes nothing special any more. That may be just me though.
Happy with Famous Grouse at £15 a litre at Sainsburys. Seems to go down just as quick!

I was going to pick my Dad up a bottle of the Haig for Christmas but I am intrigued by the Hibiki 12 yo which is down to £37.00 in Tesco. Any view on Japanese whiskey?

I'm sure it is worth it just for the experience!

Something about it, that would be the marketing men, clearly a lifestyle product not aimed at regular Whisky drinkers. It shouldn't bother me but it does a little, I like Whisky and I like that is has mainly been left to those who like it as apposed to those who attach it as some sort of bling brand like Cognac has become.
Haig I'd imagine is sweet and bland.
