A good bottle of Bushmills, Jameson, Tyrconnell or Kilbeggan whiskey....proper Irish stuff that you won't go wrong with. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I'd recommend Dalmore it's a nice smooth easy drink. Or Highland Park which is a good all rounder and usually highly recommended for those venturing into Single Malts for the first time.
Myself I'm partial to nice bit of Laphroaig Quarter Cask data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

It's still a blend, but Johnnie Walker Double Black emphasis Islay whisky without being too strong like an Islay malt
