It's apparently an old one if your an MP, liberalist or human rights lawyer or activist.. or one of the elite that wants to stop Brexit.

The only thing that will stop Brexit at this point is an asteroid slamming directly into Westminster.
Never seen any of them, David Attenborough should probably seek them out for a new BBC Wildlife documentary.

Take this with a pinch of salt but there might be a draft executive order on various LGBT issues -
Washington Post Journalist, likely has reliable sources. Unless Trump has taken to leaking false information to the media so he can hammer them again for lying. Looks like Trump is determined to roll back decades of progress through Executive Orders.

A majority of people in the UK didn't vote for Brexit.
Only 37.33% of those eligible to vote actually voted for Brexit.
Only 27% of the actual total population voted for Brexit.
Again, using word 'like will of the people' or 'majority of people' don't actually reflect the reality of politics and the population either here in the UK or in the US as a general rule.
That isn't an argument against for or against Brexit - merely an argument against claiming what the population of a country voted for or against.

There is no teasing apart anything. Trump was elected on the promise of stopping immigration from certain Countries already on the State Department concern list until a proper risk assessment was carried out.
You may disagree with it but you cannot argue that he cannot do that - its what he was elected to do.

I'm teasing apart everything that's pouring out of the Trump administration. No risk assessment has been carried out, they dropped it on everyone, out of the blue. Meaning Visas became invalid the moment he signed the order, while some were in transit. That's what caused the chaos of the last couple of days.
What Trump did not do was put this before Congress and The House of Representatives to pass it into law properly. All he's done is left this executive order open to legal challenges and unintended consequences.
The Pentagon was not asked for example to draw up a list of translators and other Iraqi's who aided the US to be given visas to move to the US (most of my American friends support taking in Iraqi's who helped the US in the Iraq War), that is now happening. This executive order was less about carrying out a campaign promise and more about seeing just how far they can push it before the US Constitution slaps them back through the systems the Founding Fathers put in place.
The Acting US Attorney General will not defend Trumps Immigration EO in court.
Being elected to do something is one thing. Ensuring that's it's consistent with the US Constitution and Rule of Law is another matter entirely. Which is the point some of you appear to be missing, Trump is heading for a rumble with the US Supreme Court down the line. Trump swore the Oath of Office "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
So far he appears to be taking no notice of the US constitution when it comes to OE's. Most President's use them sparingly, much as PM's only use the Parliament Acts on rare occasions.

As I said - he pointed out over 6 months ago that he was going to do this.
He didnt have to - he is perfectly entitled to issue EO's like this.
Well thats what happened when Obama issued the same order in 2011 - the Iraqi's working with the US Military were left stuck. I would agree that seeing what happened under Obama should have been a warning this time.
Nobody has come out with any evidence that Trump has violated the Constitution - the protections under the Constitution dont even apply to foreign nationals.
