Tensions, and emotions, are high. People are, rightfully, angry at what has happened and the council are the most obvious target for their questions. The council's lack of support won't have helped matters either, not to mention this just being the straw to break the camel's back.
There are residents on the KCTMO Board with purpose of representing the people who live in the blocks. The refurbishment was done because the tower residents requested it.
Most importantly we do not know what caused the fire yet so blaming anyone or anything at this stage serves no purpose.
