No, but what will rioting achieve? Apart from stretching another emergency service?

Riots aren't usually started on purpose. It's a chain of events, a trigger, something happens in the chaos e.g. heavy handed policeman for instance. The people haven't gone out to riot, they have rightfully gone out to protest and demand answers. The council have done a pretty good job of hiding so far.

An angry mob is no good to anyone.
Those stoking up this anger wil share responsibility for any violence that comes from it.

The whole Labour party are using this as a point-scoring exercise from what I can tell ... it is pretty obvious what their goal is so soon after a disastrous general election for the PM.

You may as well say anger is wrong-- should we ban it? It's an emotion. It's justified on this occasion. People are gathering together for strength. They have a right to protest. I am sure the intention is not to start violence.
Some of the greatest movements in history began with "mobs" and a dose of social chaos. Sometimes the system needs shaking up. Violence isn't the answer but mass protesting and demanding answers is one way to get attention.

A public enquiry has already been announced. Demonstrations, peaceful or otherwise aren't going to make it happen any quicker.

Maybe Corbyn is using this to blame the government because they are actually to blame for it.....
The Daily Mail and The Scum newspaper have run a story about the man who's fridge was faulty. They'd never dream of running a story about the council and MP's penny pinching.

...and who jumps to immediately blame a conservative government in advance of whatever truth may come out.
As said previously, there's a Politics thread elsewhere.......can these posts be moved as they are valid, just not here.
