Talk about devaluing a brand.

Nick is a nice guy and enabled the Tories hang on to power.

So it's a little pat on the head for being so helpful.

Nick Clegg, what’s not like, in my view, part responsible for letting Corbyn in through the back door. No coalition no Corbyn... So wherever you stand in the political spectrum, must be a good thing, so thankyou Lord Clegg of puppet town.

And now we are off to the Pacific, so cold turkey and Christmas on the beach with the rest of bogans, the surf will be chockers, fair dinkcum..

UK government considers joining Pacific trade agreement to help bolster economy after Brexit

I doubt many will listen to Blair, but he seems to have a good grasp of the possible political outcomes to Brexit -

Rich man who wanted to be EU President still not happy we are leaving.

I was amused by this though. When people realise they have lost, they tend to hopefully say, "best of three?"

Brexit will make Jeremy Corbyn's job harder - Tony Blair - Brexit makes Corbyn's job harder - Blair

Mr Blair said that if people voted again for Brexit, he would not push for a third poll - "that concludes the argument", he said.

Seems the hated warmonger is no different.

Shamelessly taken from Reddit.

Prime Minister News Conference, Apr 22 2004 | Video | C-SPAN.org
Let me make it absolutely clear to you: if the British people vote no they vote no. You can't start bringing it back until they vote yes. Of course, that is right. All I'm saying is you go back the council and you have to try and work out a way forward. I don't know what that is at the moment, you can't tell and I don't intend to lose the referendum. [...] but once the British people make their decision, they make their decision.

Its a shame he doesn't have a good grasp on the political outcomes of non-brexit, he might be less of an embarrassment to himself and his followers if he did.

Tony Blair accused of being 'tendentious' and 'elitist' as he says voters could be offered a fresh Brexit referendum

The presenter then interrupted and said: “But we didn’t say to people ‘look, bearing in mind that it could be tricky getting out of the European Union we may have to come back to you which way do you want to vote’. We said ‘do you want to vote, do you want to stay in or do you want to leave?’. They voted to leave.”

I suppose Blair has point, when you compare how far Brexit has now been watered down from grandiose statements, leave means leave from Bojo Redwood et al.20 billion divorce bill would not get through the house commons now at 40 billion, more or less accepting 2year transition period on top of Article 50, also now accepting ECJ for 8 years, also now considering Canadian style deal, instead of the binary no deal mantra...

...The result of a weak government without a majority bending over backwards to desperately try and stay in power and appease those who can make things very difficult.
