What everyone seems to be missing is the deep cover Corbynist moles who have been infiltrating the local Conservative parties for years waiting for the sitting MPs to be deselected so they can then select their own candidates for the position.

Conservatives win election, a large chunk of their new MPs then cross the floor and sit on the Labour benches. I saw it in a movie, I think it was The Manchestrian Candidate...data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

There is no option for me to vote in this poll data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

If you get grief from both sides then you're probably doing a pretty damn good job of it. I agree with what @Dony said recently, you must have the patience of a saint and I don't blame you one bit if you feel worn down by it. For what it's worth I think most members appreciate the job you do, even if it doesn't always feel like that.

I don't think that extremes of any type are a good thing, so can't agree that going further right is the answer to the lunatic elements of the left. As someone with generally moderate views, I find it frustrating that moderate positions tend to get discounted as they aren't controversial enough to draw attention. Polarised opinions get all the attention, and I don't think that's a good thing, regardless of where on the political spectrum they come from. I know that's always been the case to some extent, but the use of the internet and in particular social media in contemporary culture has served to make it worse by serving up a cocktail of content that creates an echo chamber for people of similar opinions and makes it more and more difficult to find common ground across these groups.

Indeed

No I think you're quite right. I was late to the Brexit section compared to others, but over the last 6 months IMO it has significantly moved.

It appeared quite balanced when I first started posting, but there's a much heavier Leave presence now, and several Remainer's I remember no longer post. For reason's unknown. And of course a couple have passed data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 RIP.

It's not an issue, but out of the few forums I frequent regularly this is certainly the most Leaver biased. Somewhere will always have to be I guess.

I still predict a hung Parliament and there still being problems ahead. If the last 3 years should have taught us anything, it's that nothing is ever clear cut in this countries politics.

As far as im concerned democracy is dead in this country after this whole debacle. Im not interested in who wins and i wont be voting

IronGiant Publish time 25-11-2019 21:40:58

It was always heavily leave biased, IIRC, the original poll for how will you vote in the upcoming referendum was nigh on 70:30 leave.

Which is not the same as right biased as kav mentioned data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

congrats.....you found one! You have changed my mind. Let them all vote. They must all be as clued up as this one individual. Surely they are one homogeneous group correctly represented by this girl.

thank you for showing me the error of my ways.
