Having just finished all the Sherlock Holmes short-stories, I've decided to jump back into this.
All the hype and excitement surrounding TV Season 4 has inspired me to go for it. I'd read AGOT previously, but I'm going back to it from the beginning, and hoping to get through the lot in one run.

You won't regret it, although when you get to Book 4 you may struggle.
Whilst i posted this i didnt get time to read the new chapter. But i read it last night, what an absolute corker it is.

A mate of mine has read them and said as much.
I may go with the site LeftHandedMatt mentions above, although that may not be as easy on a kindle..

data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 it was definitely the best way of reading it. I've not read anything since finishing the series nothing seems to grab me.

Try Prince of Thorns, it has a similar tone and equally grey characters.

I've tried that and wasn't sure what all the fuss was about. I don't think its that well written and there is one part in that book that I still don't understand what the hell happens and is totally out of keeping with everything else that happens. Lol

I agree to an extent, I felt it read almost like a young adult book, but then it takes you onto King of Thorns which is an excellent book.Just curious what didn't you understand?
