I've said it before and I'll say it again. Come and drive around Slough in rush hour and slow drivers will be the least of your worries!! Roundabouts are the biggest danger, with seemingly few people able to work out that if you're in the outside lane, you should be going round the roundabout rather than taking the first exit. It literally scares the living daylights out of me on a daily basis, but keep you sharp I suppose!
I followed a guy the other day in a beaten up Rover through 30, 40, 50 and National Speed Limit zones and he sat at 35 through all of them and I had no chance of overtaking safely. When I finally pulled alongside him on some dual carriageway, he looked like he was holding on for dear life and hadn't blinked in quite some time... scary stuff.
Milton Keynes is absolutely terrible! Probably because it has a lot of roundabouts it seems like drivers simply can't be bothered to use indicators, and the ones that do usually indicate right and leave that indicator on as they take the exit, leaving you still sat waiting to get onto the roundabout data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
My real pet hate is traffic on national speed limit roads though - there is one I drive down every day, and on at least 7 out of 10 days the car(s) in front is driving at 50mph. The speed limit is a maximum, there is no law that says you have to drive at that speed just that you cannot exceed it.
You'd think someone who drives '1300miles a week mostly on A roads' would know what this sign means?

Yeah but there's no law thats says you can drive as slow as possible because you don't like driving ,i think its called making progress on a highway .
It is in fact a failure to make no attempt to drive at the maximum speed for a clear road or at least a realistic speed ,weather and traffic conditions permiting.

This is why we should have a retest every 5 yrs to remind people that having car means driving at speeds faster than a horse and cart .
The ones I hate are the ones that only seem to be able to do one speed. I've followed a lot of people on a 60mph stretch of road doing 40mph which is very annoying as the road is busy and there are usually no overtaking opportunities.
