No idea to be honest...I would have thought physics don't allow a pancake to remain a pancake if it needs to zoom as well...

I would have thought the pancake primes negated the need to collapse - but happy to be corrected!

I was referring to the pancake zoom tbh such as the new 14-42mm Mzuiko. Perhaps this isn't classed as a pancake? It's very small though, but it powered rather than manual.

Ah that one...I didn't even know about that one But did @shotokan101 have one, and swopping it for the 12-50 due to macro capabilities (dead flies?)...Looks dinky...

Yes I see what you mean - that lens in particular has a powered zoom on the lens barrel (not my bag, either to be honest - as I always feel 'cheated' of some focal length between the the front and back!).

Not sure what lens he got with his EM10 tbh. Knowing JIm I'm sure it will an addition rather than a swap though
