What you're talking about is adoptable storage, which is a handy function of Android that permanently integrates your SD card to the overall storage of the device.
The bad news is that several manufacturers disable this. Samsung is one of them.
To me, SD card expansion is useless unless the adoptable storage feature is enabled (and works well). Otherwise, users are stuck in the same situation as yourself.
Android tablets and devices need to place the importance of higher onboard storage, at least as a premium option. This is something I've been crying out for years. |
