Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab S3 comes with four speakers and a stylus

The Tab S3 is coming in at 9.7", 2,048 x 1,536 Super AMOLED display and supports HDR. It is fitted with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It  features a MicroSD card slot with memory expansion up to 256GB.

The Tab S3 includes Android 7.0 Nougat (with Samsung's usual customised software) and includes a stylus.

I was excited about this until I read that on-board storage is restricted to 32gb only. Unless the device supports adoptable storage (which is unlikely given that none of Samsung's products support it) - then I can see the 32gb disappearing rather quickly (at least for my use).

Looks like a great device otherwise.

I was excited about this until I saw the price. John Lewis want £599!........

I'm hoping that is just a placeholder price and it's actually going to retail for 400-450.

Does seem pricey but seems like they're going after the iPad rather than the cheaper alternatives, it does have a MicroSD Slot though so expansion will be cheap and easy.

If it came with the Keyboard then the price isn't too bad but its a lot without it.

Looks like John Lewis got the RRP right... £599 now makes it more expensive than the comparable iPad Pro (although the tab S3 does come with an S-pen and if you pre-order it now, it includes the £119 keyboard for free).

To me it seems overpriced and I think given the choice, most people would just save £50 and get the iPad Pro.

Ouch. I'd be open to replacing an ageing iPad with one of these but, even with the bundle deals, at this price I'm inclined to wait out to see if Apple do refresh their tablets this month.

That's a lot of money!  I have the first Tab S 10.5, which I've had for almost 3 years and it absolutely brilliant. The battery life is better than the new version, I get about 14 hours.
If you're in the market for a good android tablet, get the old one. They are about £150 secondhand. You won't be disappointed.

The case being included makes it a slightly better deal but its still very pricey, I was thinking about pre-ordering but I might just wait it out now, its hard to overlook the Shield K1 for £170 when all I really want the tablet for is reading the paper and the odd video and net browsing.

This thing seems to be getting excellent reviews so far, still feels dear at £600 but the pre-order offer of the free keyboard case is quite temping.... I had ordered a Shield K1 but I received one from Amazon and its really laggy and constantly refuses to wake up so its going back.....

Just got mine yesterday and it is lovely... but expensive. If you get the free keyboard and the S-Pen is included then it's not much more than the others.
