I just checked my app this morning and I'm having the same no remote access! Very annoying.

Can you or @davidegee tell me what you asked Tado for to do this?  I asked them today if there is a setting to make the TRV call for heat instead of the thermostat and they replied saying there is no such thing.

PsyVision...I'm bamboozled over this as well. I have all but 1 radiator with TRV's and a thermostat & extension kit. I have the thermostat in the bathroom, where there is no TRV so that I can control the radiator in that room.....it would always be on prior to buying a thermostat.
Have I misunderstood the workings of the system?

Incase anyones wondering, and even if your not , it was a bent pin not making contact which was the final issue.
