yep, fast movements are the way to go for this... and so is form... but it'a easy to forget both when the weight gets heavy...

I found that concentrating on breathing and getting the timing right really helps. As silly as that sounds! Helps me to contact my core and hero with the form..

What app you using guys? I assume the weight u put on is muscle rather then fat?

Squat

Oh Press

Deadlift
1x5
105

and was hard going.... especially the squat - lower back felt stiff... and wasn't able to increase the weight of the OH from last time...

there's an app on the stronglifts website, I just use the spreadsheet as I don;t have a smart phone...

not sure about gaining much muscle at this stage - as it's more of a strength based routine

I know it's not a stronglift but yesterday I managed to hit a 50KG one hand snatch. Woke up this morning feeling that!

Skipping today's gym session due to work. I'm normally able to fit it in either before it after but not today. However Doris and I will be going tomorrow morning, looking forward to it already!

yes, got kettlebells tonight...supposed to be in a competition this saturday too...well, more of a showcase between 2 several clubs... see how my back fairs up... feeling stiff just now- but the same kind of pain my thighs are in...

Had my first failure today, last set on the over head at 45kg, couldn't push the last one up!
Then the dead lift at 90kg, managed 3 with large pauses in between, just couldn't budge the 4th.
I'm blaming 3hrs sleep after a nightshift

Oh well, 2 days rest and try again
