Disappointed   I took a tiger baton, halved, brushed with Virgin Olive Oil and griddled.  Lightly fried the shrooms in the same pan, tasted vaguely of mushrooms... To be fair they had a 2 day use by window which I missed by one day...

Horrible Yank idea that just makes everything sloppy.

Same with tinned tomatoes - grilled tomato is lovely though. And a fried slice, done in dripping

          Would normally make  hash browns rather than a potato waffle but we were out of spuds.

Not had potato waffles in ages.Must add to shopping list.

Looks good with just the right amount of wet and portions.
I don't think I've ever had potato waffles......am I missing much?

nothing special - old school...came out in the 80s I think... think of a smoother, cheaper version of hash browns... but they're ok...

OH OK perhaps not add them to the shopping list then....Which translates as 8 months down the line I'll get some strange urge to add them to my basket

mind, they are cheap as chips and I'm sure somewhere like lidl / aldi will sell a pack of 8 for less than a quid... I used to have them as a kid
