Critique my breakfast thread

A lot of people are saying this place is expensive, but it's in an expensive area (South East) and I think £8.95 is perfectly fine. Burger and chips in most pubs around here would cost you £15. The tea is £3.95  depending on what you want, but you get minimum 2 cups, sometimes 3 for that.

Looks pretty good and the price is about right for SE. Black pudding looks a little overdone and tin toms for me.

We pay between £12 for two in a town cafe to £25 in a hotel along the right parts of the coast.

A good breakfast isn’t cheap.

Im talking about good ingredients, in particular the sausage and bacon.

I pay over a tenner for a breakfast including coffee.

nice, but eggs not cooked enough for me... with my, I like the oil to be very hot so the underside of the egg is crispy, then flip them over for a very short amount of time - and making sure the yolk remains soft...

if I got served that I would have thrown it back at the waiting staff who served it...

That’s exactly how I like my fried eggs. The frying of the other side is done for a token amount of time just to ‘seal’ the egg.

My missus found this recipe in a co-op monthly freebie.

Toasted bagel, rocket, mashed avocado and a poached egg.
I wasn't sure but it was lovely
