Bloody hell, I'm sat in a hotel for a retirement party. Skipped breakfast so I'd enjoy my lunch.

Supposed to serve half an hour ago but I'm still waiting. Bad idea opening this thread...

I had every intention of doing my usual early rise and walk to the store to pick a few ingredients for a nice breakfast and failed miserably by having a very rare lay in.

That ploughman’s looks andsome, when I owned a pub we used to sell loads of them, had a customer who had been to a competitors pub for a ploughman’s, said it was awful apparently just iceberg lettuce bit of cheese pickle and bread so'complained, chef came out and asked what was wrong, he said it’s a bit boring, chef says what do you want me to do make it get up and bloody dance for,you !!

I substituted the Stilton for more cheddar which I had already eaten. Been a bit ill recently so thiught the Stilton was a bad idea. Very nice ploughman’s though. A tenner.
