All this talk of mushrooms got me in the mood.  Chestnut mushrooms on high protein bread (whatever that is):

                                                                                 

They were rubbish.  Hardly had any flavour whatsoever.

I really wish you could buy the chanterelle mushrooms in England, knob of butter and salt n pepper and they are Amazing.

Could have sworn I see them at tesco.....Search shows wild mixed containing them.
I'll have a look later

My mistake I've just been down Tesco to check and I believe I mistook wild for Chanterelle

I think there’s probably a few Chanterelle in the mix.

The Ocado mushrooms look tasty actually.

Tearooms opened in my village in the autumn, very nice too. All locally sourced & barely a spot of grease on the plate afterwards.

                                                                               

What’s the going rate where you live? This was £8.95 (with toast), drinks are extra, the tea’s not cheap but it’s all loose leaf & bloody marvellous.

£7.65 down my local cafe, but you only get one egg.  I think your price is reasonable and it looks great.
