U-Turn or not I feel that May/Tories have really cocked up.
May/Tories were in power but called this snap election because they felt they could smash labour and increase their majority by loads.
Her dementia tax will have turned off a lot of potential voters, the U-Turn may not convince them, they may think "we know what she really intends when she gets into power".
Coupled with Corbyn's promises of free cash for most, I fear that May/Tories are going to regret what they have done. There is now a chance that they will lose, or more likely win with a lesser majority than they started with.
The older generation were Tory's key voters, not much time for Corbyn, not much to gain from Corbyn's promises, and wanting a strong Brexit stance - I fear that May/Tories have pushed them away.
