Ah but the difference is Farron's a bit of non entity as leader. Where as Corbyn has had the benefit of the Labour Party Machine. Anyway some of the Unions are getting a bit restless about Corbyn, seems they have cottoned on Corbyn won't serve their members well cos he'll preside over a blood bath of Labour seats most likely.

He'll not resign, so the question is will the PLP move in for the kill and have Tom Watson as Leader while they change the leadership contest rules or await the Messiah David Miliband.

What has Corbyn ever run previously? He was a back bencher. Sorry but I see Farron and Corbyn as being the same. Both unpopular, both unfit to lead. And leave them alone, they are doing a good job at it.

Farron worked in higher education before he became an MP. As for Corbyn ? Professional Rebel.
If you believe in democracy at all, you should value an opposition that can function and hold the government of the day to account. It's critical at this juncture that we have that, least the SNP dominate proceedings in Parliament.

Looking back a bit maybe a small chance for the Lib Dems, Manchester was 60% Remain.
