Because your original post was so brief and lacking in any direction it's difficult to know where you are coming from.

Rather than demanding people post in your poles {sic} and respond to your questions perhaps you could actually give us your thoughts?

These aren't AVF rules, it's just accepted internet etiquette.

There: you have my opinion that you asked for, both as a Mod and a fellow member who doesn't like seeing you roasted for being a ....

Not really fair to base pay rises on performance I feel in every profession .
Frontline health workers , particularly nurses , deserve every penny they get and more .
This is my opinion and one that is based on recent personal experience

"GPs are not included in the HSCIC figures because they are not employed by the NHS."

Uh oh...

So increasing NHS wages won't help retain GPs...   Oh well...

Your very same link says that 1 in 4 of the NHS workforce is from abroad.

And as we still have a larger (and increasing) NHS workforce you guys aren't doing very well in demonstrating that they are all leaving due to low wages.

We attract more to the UK than leave.

So if the wages are attractive we shouldn't have any vacancies as there would be plenty of doctors and nurses  applying for these jobs. Right?

You guys are funny.

Where have I said anything about vacancies?

It must be annoying that you want me to have said something else. But I didn't.

Just pointing out that the NHS staff aren't all leaving due to low wages.

You have agreed that there are vacancies already. So that's done and dusted.
The link also clearly states the reasons why doctors are leaving which includes wages.
Clear to me.
