He had a hearing in front of the Judge and entered a guilty plea. There wouldn't be a trial, and he was subsequently sentenced. Nothing untoward or unusual.

Not defending him at all but do you really think that is usual....the legal profession would be crying over the lost revenue...
Would have looked better if they had arrested him for contempt of court as well....

Point still stands that they have added ammo to the far rights cause

It's an unusual case, but the correct legal response. So not usual, because no-one is usually so arrogant to defy the judiciary that often.

Idiots they may be ,i wouldn't assume they were all knuckle draggers though,,,the probably thought the same in germany in the early part of the 30's and we all know how that panned out...Never underestimate your enemy
