Scotland actually expected to receive EU subsidies, a net "rebate" if you like, rather than being a positive contributor. IIRC, this was buried in the 615 page manifesto.

The SNP's economic case for independence was flawed, made major assumptions about oil revenues - even the amount of oil reserves - and made no sense without receiving EU benefits.

Yes, and you might not have noticed, but not one single part of Scotland voted to leave. However, because we have less say in what happens than London, it made absolutely no difference. Regarding other people's observations regarding our economy and oil revenue, I must assume that the information is coming from MSM. Unless you were able to look at other sources for the correct figures, then you wouldn't know that oil was always looked on as a bonus. If you look at the example of Norway, with less oil , they have created a fund which provides interest to use towards its economy, without spending the capital. If only the UK government had done this, then how much better off would we now be.

The UK was in the EU. Everyone in the UK had a vote. The UK voted to leave.

We fund Scotland, they have their own parliament, they can vote on England but we can't vote on them.

There are 20 constituencies in Scotland and Wales which are smaller than the smallest England constituency.

The UK government is generally stuffed with Scots.

So "less say" do me a favour.

REMAIN - 59.9% (2.3 million votes) LEAVE - 40.1% (1.5 million votes)

Granted that 5 Burroughs didn't vote Remain, but the other 28 did.

Which is moot, because only the total UK vote counted...

P.S. Interestingly 600,000 more people voted  Remain in London than in the whole of Scotland

Where do you get the figures about you funding Scotland. If you look at the figures, there are only three occasions that we got back more than we contributed since devolution. I also presume you have heard of EVEL. Incidentally, have you seen where Westminster realigned the border on the North Sea, as apparently Dundee is now in England. All your arguments re the size differential between England and Scotland is the main reason for the political disquiet up here. This gets translated by the press as anti-English, despite a fairly large number of English people who live up here agreeing with us.
