We can vote on the NHS and Trident but not the EU?

I don't recall having a referendum vote on either the NHS or Trident?
I am just saying, that for such an enormous decision (that very few really understood the implications of either way) maybe it shouldn't have been left to the general voting public to decide?
Anyway, now we have had it we are all still infighting as to how to leave. How do we solve NI,  keep the economy ticking over, keep Brexiteers happy, keep trade with the EU, etc, etc.

Remarkable European Merger Agreement of Interoperability between Nations

It's positive, upbeat and has "remarkable" in the title - everyone will love it.

You don't remember it in every manifesto going and both being major political footballs? Are you saying you understand all the implications of that and everything else political parties ask you to elect them for?
It was in the Conservative party manifesto 2015 that there would be a referendum on the EU by 2017.

They won the election.
The same with anything else in a democracy.

Well let's see if it does as well as Chequers.

If May secures the deal to stay in the customs union over the next few weeks, I suspect we'll all look back at Chequers as the facilitator that finally galvanised us into deciding what we want. A footnote in history perhaps, but one that has helped chart the way forward.
