Hmmm having read TfL's statement it is interesting....It doesn't come across to me that there are any specific rules that have been broken, I'm a little surprised there are no direct references to sections/paragraphs etc in that. A bit wooly regarding 'Corporate Responsibility' and it sounds rather subjective.
I was going to ask whether anyone knows of a better source and reasons why, but the paper I just read is from TfL....

As a consumer I really like Uber. I've only once doubted a drivers identity in Warsaw, but as there were 5 of us and one of him we went with it anyway....I would have declined by myself...But I know more about the driver and my route than if I got a normal taxi...
I've used Uber in UK, Netherlands, France, Poland, Russia, United States...Absolutely love it, and great vehicles....It would be a real shame if London decides it wants bad customer service and sh*tty vehicles instead...I do know that my money wouldn't go to black cabs.... |
