Interesting idea from Blair - although how you force someone to integrate who doesn't want to and what sanctions you would employ if they refused (deportation?) is not made clear.

I seem to remember learning that the Jewish population of Germany was pretty well integrated into German society and that didn't stop the rise of the far right and Nazis there.
