MOD COMMENT: This was also mentioned in another? thread by @nabby . As you say, it's not always obvious what a link is referring to, nor what the poster's stance on the subject is, so it's always preferable to accompany a link with at least a line or two of introduction. Even a seemingly self explanatory "funny" image can sometimes be taken in different ways by different viewers. And of course anything that looks like blatant spamming/thread spoiling will be looked upon dis-favourably. |
