I think Jeremy will make politics in this country interesting again. An honest and honourable man who cares about society. He is very personable of which will in my opinion captivate large numbers of disengaged voters. It will give Scotland a viable alternative to the SNP, students and youth a meaningful platform for debate, working classes a voice.

So looking forward to PMQs... I think Dave will be in for a bumpy ride....

Is this the first party leader with a beard since Hague?

Which is my point.... From a Tory perspective JC is the best thing since sliced bread as it stands. I think you might all be in for a shock just as the Labour Party has been over his appointment, wasn't that long ago he was 100/1 to be the next leader of the party.

It is possible that the UK is clamouring for a true left wing government and we shall see. I'm still fairly sure that as it only cost £3 to vote in this last contest, we may have already seen a significant chunk of Corbyn's electorate but I've nothing to prove this so only time will tell.

Win or lose in 2020, Corbyn will force a shift in the Political Narrative. If he connects with the masses of people who did not vote in 2015 then 2020 is up in the air. But time will tell.

This makes the rather peculiar assumption that everyone (or even the majority) that doesn't vote is left leaning which is based on no credible evidence I've been shown.

Corbyn could transform the Labour party and the country the way Clem Attlee did back in  1945

Well he's no longer too far to the left and there's even space on the front benches now.

I have never voted before as I was disillusioned with the options available (Tory and Tory Light), however, Jeremy Corbyn has invigorated me to vote for him at the next election (if he's still alive ).

I don't support all of his views and the man is sincere and honourable and a man of principles which none of the other politicians seem to be.

What people need to understand is that most people will not vote for corny because he ticks ALL their boxes, they will vote for him because of perhaps 1 or 2 of his policies and his character.  That is the reason he will be a real threat to the Tories.  He will get a whole generation of people to vote who have never voted before.

Just see the Daily Mail online front page today to see how scared they are; plastered will anti Corbyn scaremongering stories.
Examples:
1) Corbyn's sweatshop T-shirts: Poverty-stricken workers paid just 49p an hour making clothes that boosted his coffers by £100,000

2)'I won't bomb ISIS': New Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn tells thousands at refugee rally he wants peace with jihadis

3)The cronies...and the collaborators: five fervent red fighters whose loyalty will be rewarded

4)'It's a f***ing disaster': Utter dismay from senior Labour MPs as Corbyn victory triggers EIGHT resignations from frontbench

5)Jeremy Corbyn's hard-left Labour party are a 'serious risk to national security', warns Defence Secretary Michael Fallon

6)With friends like these! Corbyn's victory hailed in ARGENTINA over his support for giving up control of the Falklands
