This must be the 5th time she has changed her mind, how can anyone takes her seriously?

Labour have dismissed the idea and will not be Co-operating.

Waiting with baited breath for another Swinson soundbite.

Makes sense, an extra 12 seats is unlikely to get Labour in.  But I bet Labour would change it's tune if it suddenly found itself 10 seats short of a majority.

Of course they would. And the same would be true if the Liberal Democrats were 10 short of a majority (for arguments sake). All Parties look to be geared for a General Election, rather than a second referendum at this point.

Jo Swinson is entitled to express her desired outcome, we are a democracy after all. 2016 didn't seal democracy in a vacuum that can only be unsealed after Brexit is delivered. Don't like what she says ? Vote against the Liberal Democrats.
I think the By-Election for  Brecon and Radnorshire is due around the 1st of August. The Liberal Democrats are last time I looked odds on favourites to retake the seat. Which shouldn't be much of a surprise as they held the seat from 1985 till 2015 (I think anyway).

Shame Swinson doesn't accept that.

Plaid and Greens are standing aside to assist the Lib Dems. AFAIK
Great for democracy and respect not only for the electorate, but the MPs that have spent years campaigning for issues close to them apart from brexit.

She's expressing her views, if they don't jive with the electorate then she won't do so well in a General Election. If none of us can express our views fully then we simply do not live in a democracy. You might not want to hear what Swinson has to say, but she has every right to say it. If you are certain that there is an overwhelming majority for Brexit, then you really shouldn't be bothered by Swinson or the Liberal Democrats.

Im not bothered, and I have the right to disagree with what she is saying, if I can keep up with her ever changing mind.

So a leader of a party with 12 MPs is pleading with a lifelong Euroscept  to stop the Boris Goverment from delivering the result of the reforendum .
