But likely enough to make certain votes extremely tough for a minority Government to win (they may not even be Brexit related either). May is on a tight rope doing a balancing act between keeping the hardcore Brexiteers and Pro European side of the Tory Party from fraying. She slips with either side and she falls into shark infested waters. Unless Boris pushes her off while he zip lines his way into Number 10 Downing Street but crashes into the gates instead.
As far as Anna Soubry goes ? I doubt she'd care about losing her seat if she felt a course of action she may decide to take on Brexit, if she feels it's in the national interest. MP's are meant to be independent minded, take on board what voters say but crucially go with their gut feeling which may not be to the voters liking. But hey ho, General Elections are basically MP's getting a job appraisal with the possibility of being sacked. The craven MP's will go with whatever is popular to try and keep a seat. |
