This i think is the main issue.
We all know VW will resolve the problem in terms of "Fixing" it, just exactly what impact that has on the car itself in terms of performance is another matter.
While i hope VW will acknowledge that and simply allow returns, as the vehicle itself no longer meets the specification for which it was purchased... I don't think they will, instead opting to battle class actions. Which is frustrating.
I've rung Audi, they've taken my details and said will update me as currently they have zero information. I've also contacted a solicitors who is currently collecting details for a possible class action.
They say they have been transparent - but they really haven't.. They've got "Oops, we've made a huge mistake" but that isn't surprising when they've been caught out, no other way for them to react.. The real test is how they deal with the fix and potential impact on their customers. |
