E30 was my first desire (after the GTI), and then I swiftly turned around and realised I could have a Bentley GT for less
Damn I remember that my girlfriend (at the time) turned 18 before me, and whilst I was still on my 4 stroke moped 50cc (but bored out to 90cc ). She got a brand new E30 from her parents for her 18th...A brown 320i two door. They were so good to drive...
I must admit that I've already done the 5'series, not by owning one, but by having had 3 BMW 7 Series already which are effectively very similar but better kitted out; I had a 750iL and 2 x 740i.
Damn an E30 looks so good to me....
I agree that the XR3i's will make it at some point, the square headlight just don't do it for me...
Saab I love, but I've had 3 already. My first was a Turbo-16 coupe, second a 2.3 Convertible, and final one a 93 2.0T T18, special tuned version from Saab City in the City of London. So much torque steer that you can put your foot down and keep going straight
I'm more comfortable with electronic than mechanics. That was the good thing about the 7'series, I could diagnose and change nearly anything with my laptop and programming skills. So that doesn't scare me at all...
I love the Clio's but they have no approvals from those indoors
Tempted by going something Japanese, but that shout out by @rousetafarian about the Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI is a real good shout. Fits the bill perfectly of a car to work on that is simple.
But then @Dony through a spanner in the works with a wild car...I really like the Brera, yup the newest of the lot, but I love it. And that actually make me start thinking about an Alfa 75, I wonder whether they have survived.... |
