If the solenoid is sticking in and making that noise it's not going to be good for it.
Then there's the possibility it will stick in the opposite direction and you can't start the car.
This car sounds like a lemon, get your money back if you can.

So an update!

Car went in on Monday.

Dealer said defiantly bring it in, no problem will get done this week  

Part only turned ip today apparently at around 3pm.

Csr now won't be ready untill thus time next week as the garage has staff off sick.

They do say they gonna sort starter motor but I'll believe  it when I see it.

Was lied too by dealer as he said this us second part as first one needed to go back

Mechanic says that not the case oy one part every ordered ect .

Mrs still incisting it gets fixed !
I just wanna scream !


Seriously , its keeping me awake at night now .

Cant you trust anyone in this world !

So, car been at the garage since last Monday .

Next update  

Hot car back today.

Starter motor fixed
Sir gets hot inside car.
Climate control still not getting cold  

Turns out the aircon pump is knackered!

We are bring really messed around now.

The mechanic said he told the dealer the pump was broken and the dealer said take to let us take it anyway........

Anyone know the cost of a job like this?

Obviously new pump and a regas?

God knows why you're still dealing with these clowns, they've royally ripped you off by taking you over the 30 day warranty under the guise of 'waiting for parts guv'  They would of known as soon as the part was replaced that it still didn't work but gave it to you anyway!  What do you honestly expect from them now?

What are our options at this point from a legal stand point.

We feel conned and messed around.

We have been lied to and ignored.

Solicitors letter of some kind  ?

Final chance to fix before a threat of legal action ?

Name and shame them some where ?
