Zafira B cdti climate control problem

on going saga,

Apparently the compressor that was put in is faulty and causing fuses to blow in the car !

Different part going in this week.

I have told him i want the money back if this dosnt work this time , but he is not keen saying that it would be "difficult"

We do however have his car at our house for the Mrs to use so am hopeful he will now speed this up a bit.

Quite frankly i think we have been more than patient with it all, so this is his last chance to fix the problem.

I can see this having to go to small claims court if not..........

Heater box internal mixer.

Then the we found out the aircon compressor not working.

Second hand part put in , that kept blowing the electric. Finally new part it , all now working !

Yes, I remember suggesting early in your thread that it might be the mixer flap at fault.

Luckily @GalacticaActual has climate control/automatic A/C.

“It affects only cars fitted with either manual air-conditioning or no air-conditioning whatsoever”

Hopefully his woes are over for now onthe HVAC front. Just the other one thousand faults and niggles common to a Zafira to deal with now

And yes I owned one for 5 years with a fair share of mysterious black box failures in the engine control and management systems that led me to believe Vauxhall was using a new black gold for what looked like cheap black plastic boxes with wires sticking out......

So, car aircon has now stopped blowing cold again!
Worked for about a month then just warm air again!
