Shame we never got to see him fight mayweather in his prime, now that his past his peak he'll probably only fight him for the sake of money and no doubt lose too.

Pacquiao is a fighter on the slide, he certainly doesn't look the force he used to be. I used to think he would give Mayweather a hard time but not so sure anymore.

I always said mayweather would beat Pacman
And still stand with that

Marquez is a man he took it in there and done damage and well done

One thing is pacquiao gonna do a khan and start putting blame of roach not seeing things because of his condition

Marquez top man
And won a few people on
Here a nice sum
Of Xmas money

Hi,

As I suspected, Marquez would win this so congrats to him - well deserved from a Pacquiao fan! Manny was extremely unwise to take this fight - there was no title at stake, everything to lose for him & nothing to really gain. he made a very bad decision to take this fight & it back fired big time.

To put Pacquiao in the same excuse mentality of Khan is very unfair imo - if he was cut from the same cloth he would never have taken a fight that was so risky & as far as I know, he does not have a history of blaming others & making excuses - need to be a little circumspect there.

Suave!

Pacquiao should retire now. He has been one of my favourite fighters of the last 10 years or so but he peaked 4 or 5 years back. I think at height of his powers, he would have probably beaten Mayweather with his ferocious and relentless brutality but, that side to his game has now gone and with it, his chances of beating Mayweather.

Mayweather has been the most accomplished boxer of his generation and his almost lethargic defensive counter puching style hasn't changed with age, and subsequently any fight between the pair now would be the most one sided contest in the history of boxing. Pacman can no longer fall back on his energy sapping ferocity of old which a few years back would have had Mayweather in real trouble and I think he knew it.

I feel that's one of the reasons he wouldn't take the risk on the fight years ago, when they were both in their prime. 4-5 years back when the fans wanted the fight, Mayweather knew he would have to get badly hurt in the ring to beat Pacman and I'm not sure he had stomach for it. Now though, he could simply outbox Manny fairly safe in the knowledge that he isn't going to get a real kicking in the process due to Mannys decline.

It's a pity because it would have been a stellar contest at the time whereas now it would be little more than a sideshow grudge match between two fighters (with one whose best days are long gone) to generate big money and little else.

Hopefully, Paquiao will resist temptation for the millions (which he doesn't need) on offer and go into politics and forget all about this fight and leave the fans to argue the question of "what might have been"... because his reputation earned in his wars in the ring simply isn't worth tarnishing for a match up with Mayweather now.

Fully agreed.

He should hang up is gloves and call it a day before his career is tarnished. Meywether is the real bottler though. he had the chance to take on pacman -5 years ago but bailed out making sooo much excuses.

Now it is not worth doing it now.
