one of the best looking pieces of garbage ever

Yeah so i get "Gantz" the show... on DVD... does it look good? yeah... does it sound good? yeah... is it good? NO! this might be one of the best looking pieces of garbage ever...

it doesn't follow the normal Japanese anime story of the hero, but that's not a good thing.

The story goes like this. There's this sphere with this alien inside of it by the name of Gantz. Gantz transports you at the moment of your death to a room where this sphere is located and he says that your lives now belong to him. And then he says you have to go hunt stupid looking aliens and wear suits that give you powers and fire guns that don't look cool. So you suit up and you go out and you hunt the stupid alien... and some people in your party don't survive and the next time they're replaced by new people who died the next time.

And someone has to explain that it's not a joke and that this is the mission ...and that if you don't put on suits chances are you'll die... and someone always doesn't believe.. and wouldn't you know it... they're always the first to go...

and this happens over and over... and the people you like... well guess what... they're going to die... and you're not going to like it... i know i didn't i hate anything that kills off a character that you grow to like for no reason, there's no emotional center. It's just... hey you know what? these people are going to die and that's what's going to happen...

It feels kind of like watching Cube where people show up and they don't know what's going on and everyone has a different opinion. And then you're forced to do something or you die a gruesome death... and i mean a horrible horrible death.

bottom line... i hated this show... it was stupid and at times really boring the characters come and go so quickly it's hard to like anyone, so it's kind of like just watching people die for 13 hours. and the characters really really really need to learn how to fire a gun instead of talking about who's going to fire a gun... just shoot the gun... it gets frustrating to watch...

i give this show 2 stars out of 10
