In an effort to save some other poor soul from a complete waste of time, I'm penning my first review. This was the worst thing I have ever watched. Train wreck bad. I even stuck with all 8 episodes just in case the end was redeeming. It wasn't. I'm an avid watcher of all British crime dramas -- and until now, I have liked them all. Despite an appealing cast, this mess just couldn't save itself. Truly horrendous writing, uneven acting, and shallow characters abound. There was much eye rolling and groaning on our part as we tried to make it through the series. A thoroughly unlikable heroine was like nails on a chalkboard. Don't do it, folks. (The wacky Germans were fun tho)
