Poll: Would you be interested in seeing a food forum?

Rather lost the thread, but yes, I hope it will happen. I guess GC probably didn't start with many contributing, but gained momentum. All an unknown quantity of course.

Gardening is probably a good match as well. Perhaps a little more polarised than food, but at least unisex.

To be honest, if it has low expectations, then that's just fine. There is less anticipation. I wouldn't want it to be a flash in the pan either. I think we can probably all think of something to write about if we put our minds to it. It is purely down to the posters though. The more that participate, the more interesting it becomes.

GC is unique in that it has no remit. It can go wherever anyone wants to take it. That is its beauty. There is always the unexpected, the surprising, the humerous, so I can't see people switching over to a specific forum. But I hope they would take a look in occasionally.

It's not a big thing if it isn't selected. There has not been a consensus among the members, so not a done deal by any means. If there is a benefit to the forum as a whole, it may, but few of us know the road map for the future of the forum.

We'll see anyway.
