She claims she'd had death threats, she claims her Facebook account was hacked.

In this country people are innocent until proven guilty. There is nothing more to say.

Yeah, the general public are generally not that bright unfortunately - I'd take what they put on Twitter / FB with a big pinch of salt.
On here however, we're still seeing posters use the phrase 'remoaner' and expect to be taken seriously.
Why? A 77 year old doesn't understand people can view what's posted on social media?
I'm sure she knew how to set all the privacy settings on Facebook so ordinary Facebook users couldn't view her posts.
And I'm sure she's aware it is still viewed as hate speech so wouldn't have done it, whereas someone hacking her Facebook would have posted worse to discredit her.
