Meet and greet ok? For,hire car can get a 107 for £19, just debating adding the extra insurance for £41 or just run the gauntlet lol

Meet and greet seems cheaper than in terminal options

We got meet and greet - we will try to avoid it in future. The problem is you have to get a shuttle bus from the terminal to the car which isn't terrible but adds a level of faff (we have to get our luggage to the middle of an airport carpark for this) but also you are at their mercy in terms of the timings. If your flight arrives or lands 'out of hours' you want to check whether they are running the bus.We had a 10AM flight and their office opened at 8AM so when you have to drop off, then wait for a bus (two in our case) that doesn't leave a massive comfort zone for getting the flight. We could have paid extra for them to open the office early.

Something to think about.

Whatever you go for make sure you check you can pick up at that time (or an hour or two later).

Just bumping this thread.

Was thinking of going away for 4 days or so in Jan/Feb Tenerife) with a friend from work.

Flight is dirt cheap (as they are) but accommodation in Tenerife is fairly expensive (more so thanks to the dire exchange rate).

Few pages back there was some crazy deals (ok a year ago) with the travel companies (I've not booked with a travel company for a decade as I usually book my own flights/accom).

Just wondering what's the best way to check for short winter breaks.Doesn't have to be Tenerife.Got a feeeling some destinations may be a fair bit cheaper booking as a package.
