Dont get me it wrong it a FANTASTIC camera but I am finding I am nearly dropping it too much with my big hands..

How does the A7mk3 compare to the A7Rmk2?I noticed when browsing A7m3 prices I noticed a local camera shop had the A7R2 with a six month warranty for under £1500 which makes it a fair bit cheaper and the high resolution sensor makes it a bit more usable with the APS-C e-mount lenses.
I'm wondering if I'm losing much over the A7m3 as the lower price makes it appealing to finally give the A7 series a shot.

From what I can gather the A7iii is all about the AF performance and frame rate (which is a big step up from any of the Mkii bodies apparently). In terms of out right image quality it's swings and roundabouts, the A7Rii obviously has higher res, but on paper the A7iii has slightly better DR and noise handling.
In addition to the comments from snerkler, the other change is the switch to the newer NP-FZ100 battery - which has a much higher than the NP-FW50 battery the A7RII uses.
How much this affects you will depend on how you use the camera - I always carry 2 spare NP-FW50 with my A6000, as I know I'll probably use at least 1-2 full batteries in a day - but they are cheap, small and light, so it's more an irritation of having to spend 30s swapping batteries when one runs out than anything else.
If you're going to use the camera a lot, particularly in situations where missing an opportunity because the battery has given out at an inopportune moment is a problem, then the A7III with it's much longer battery life (particularly if you add a VG to have multiple batteries) might be a better option (it's also, from all reports, a phenomenal camera for the money!)
That's a very good point regarding batterylife which I hadn't considered and what actually triggered this line of thought was I took the NEX-6 away for a few days over the D750 primarily because the little Sony can easily do video as well as stills.However the batterylife was awful which probably isn't helped by the fact it's getting on a bit now however it was irritating given the Nikon's batterylife is so stupidly long it's often difficult to find the charger as it's so long since I last used it.
I was leaning towards the A7R2 as the lower price means I could squeeze in a lens for the A7m3 price plus the high resolution is something the D750 can't do but less sure now.I've also been toying with the A6500 and the RX10mk4 as alternatives for an all in one camera, the latter should be the best at it however I've never got on with the RX10m2.
